Inverter noise

thanks will be in the garage appreciate your feedback not sure if the one im getting will have a fan or not just says on the quote Sunsynk 8kw Hybrid Inverter but will see looking forward to getting off the grid

My 8kva Deye sounds like a drone when the fans go on, but it's in the garage, so no issue

Called the supplier now, this was eating at me. There is 2 versions the fan out there. One and "Fanless" ( Not really fanless ) Has a single small fan externally and a small fan that operates to just get air moving across the heatsink fins at the back. Both fans are placed at points on the path of the find that generate the most heat but was mentioned that the fans are barely audible.

My mistake for calling it fanless sorry folks.

That's pretty cool. The one I have is pretty noisy so kudos to them for bringing out a quieter 8kW guy.

Sorry man, but could you please post a link to the "fanless" one? I've been looking specifically for a quiet inverter, but my supplier doesn't seem to know what I'm talking about,

Then why are you bothered by noise?,You know it's not like a generator, right?

It isnt fanless completely but the fans can be heard, if you want a fanless option. There is a Solis S5 inverter that you can look at. Very similar in spec to the sunsynk, comes with a massive display and slightly better priced.
