Hi, any feedback ?Some feedback on this one
it seems we have two problem prefixes:
Vodafone (/19) and NTT (/12)
Now for some reason, both are advertising their prefixes to our upstreams in Frankfurt via De-CIX and New York, but not London. Add to that the fact that upstreams in Lisbon (other end of Equiano) have direct peering to Frankfurt, we see where the hairpin happens.
The NTT allocation seems to be an EU assignment used in multiple countries, advertised as a single /12 (which is huge) and making selecting London as an entry point a potential issue.
We've logged tickets with our upstreams to see if they can try pick these up in London.
Evening, thanks for your patience on this one. Our upstreams have not been able to get a closer peer to either network due to the large ranges and Frankfurt peering. They were trying to get some feedback from Voda and NTT directly, but the last update I see on the ticket is that they have not heard back yet. I will ask our team to reach out again, as well as check our routes to see if there is any noticeable improvement over the 3 paths.Hi, any feedback ?
thanks - please can the team have a look 513980 latest response, something happened overnight? i am now not able to get to my VPN at all? Howdy, thanks for your patience here. We had installed a static route to try force traffic via an alternate path, however that path is currently offline due to some issues that upstream experienced earlier this week. We've deleted the static path. Let me know how latency looks now?thanks - please can the team have a look 513980 latest response, something happened overnight? i am now not able to get to my VPN at all? heya, thanks, so.. its working, and it's sub 200ms... so .. static is better to ensure sub 200ms , but risky if one of the nodes goes offline ? (fyi - currently it's not bad 180ms on dynamic, the issue not sure how long it will stay like that)Howdy, thanks for your patience here. Morning, apologies for only getting back to you now. Evotel team were great with their updates, looks like a damaged feeder cable and all resolved by 15:00 yesterday. Let me know if you're having any issuesHi @websquadza - Any idea what the issue is with Evotel in Northriding?
Not seeing anything immediately evident on our side. Usual tests are clear. Also not noticing any issues with YouTube. GGC performing well.Is there an issue with international traffic? Local speedtests fine but to London getting 1 Mbps, something is off and Youtube is also slow

Have you checked for any packet loss? Sounds like packet loss
This here makes no sense, please share the output of https://redirector.googlevideo.com/report_mapping?di=no. Google is served locally and on net (cache) so this does point to some line/local issue.YouTube is still buffering real bad, dropping down to 720p just to play videos on a 500 meg line
I have also had some youtube buffering and I am on 850Mbps and my apple tv is plugged in with ethernet. Happened yesterday but having said that it is extreemly intermittent.YouTube is still buffering real bad, dropping down to 720p just to play videos on a 500 meg line

I'm glad it's not just me, mine is also on a wired connection and very intermittent
https://redirector.googlevideo.com/report_mapping?di=no - please run this so we can check if you're being fed by the caches and investigate further. Also confirm Area and FNO.Also been having Youtube streaming issues intermittently on 1Gbps line.
