What game are you playing now? (Part 2)

I'm busy with the Lords of the Fallen remaster that was given on PSN+, I hated it back when it was initially released, but this remaster has me hooked!

Souls-like games are my jam, I make a point of platting each one if I can :giggle:

There was a graveyard level at the end of Origins, that thing tore my soul out repeatedly until I eventually just quit it :cautious:
Yes, the one that unlocks after you find all 10 teeth throughout the game. I never finished that one either.

First time bioschock1 what an amazing game. Puts to shame some nowadays titles...

Not just a video game.

It's a work of art that profoundly commentates on the nature of man and what he his willing to sacrifice, namely all those things that make us human, in pursuit of his selfish ambitions fueled by hubris.

Bioshock gave me an experience playing it no other game has matched. When the 'would you kindly''.......lands with you late game, I was gobsmacked.

2 was decent.

3 is forgettable.

I started with their 1st 2, System Shock 1 & 2

Planning to revisit at some time now with the remakes/remaster

Yep, Looking Glass Studio was so ahead of the curve.

Is it quite polished? I read you can only do the 'first chapter' of the campaign. Not sure how much you can do in the MP, but I hate the idea of an incomplete game.

It's in a pretty good state for EA imo, but being EA there is still plenty to fix.

You don't play it for the campaign, you play it for the skirmish maps and mode.

If you're only going to play the campaign then yeah, wait until the launch.

With bioshock remaster -dx9 seems to avoid most of issues. Haven't had any so far. However, I did had to set disable screen optimizations on its exe otherwise brightness doesn't want to work.

Played Bioshock remaster Collection on Switch. Will probably buy System Shock 2 on switch as well. Sadly System Shock Remake is PC only.

Omw this level. Hardest level in the game so far for me, died approx 164004 times. Pretty much zero room for any mistakes and you have to time most jumps perfectly.

Didn't help that I had a small character that I couldn't see half of the time because the level is so fast.

Anyway, made it eventually. One of my favourite platformers. :)

3 was nonce, that part at the end where you had to use the rails cost me my plat trophy
