Ferrari Luce (EV)

Ferrari vs Lamborghini is the same as Merc vs BMW
Those with class like the one and the redneck Tiktok generation like the other.

i hated the 849 as well - i think that Ferrari is going in the wrong direction - i would rather remain a fan of Lamborghini

Always been a Lambo man.

But this whole narrative is strange because all their recent cars have been similarly weird but only the EV gets moaned about.

well i have made no secret of the fact that i have hated every Ferrari after the F8 Tributo and then the special model Daytona SP3 ..... the 649 Testarossa and the F80 were both hideous

the problem with the Luce is not that its an EV but rather how the ipad man farked up the design so spectacularly - they should have just made the Purosangue external design use the electric motors and that would have been much better - at least that looked like an SUV that would beat your typical BYD and Hyundai or Cherry ..... what they landed up with is a eyesore of note by the designer of Apple mouses (this is why the ar5es of the apple idiots are itching so much)

I can’t agree less.

He didn’t **** up ****, he just followed all their existing design language.

That’s exactly the point I’m making about this selective outrage because the last bunch who had nothing to do with Ive were even more terrible.

you are absolutely wrong - following their design language he would have landed up with something more like the Red car on the right here

and can you also explain the similarities in the design language between this here

and this 💩 ..... i really would love to know acknowledge the heritage between the two BUT the Luce has more in common with a Nissan leaf than anything Ferrari IMHO

No one buying a Ferrari is considering any of these as an option

sad fact of the matter is that besides for the power and handling advantages BUT judging solely on the look they are superior options

if i wanted a fugly but extremely comfortable SUV i would rather get a Cherry Tiggo 8 Pro - and since there is no racetrack where i live speed be damned and i would probably get close to 15 of those Tiggo 8s at the price of the Ferrari

People are clearly clueless about Ferraris. They have always pushed boundaries. Some age well, some don’t.

Automotive manufacturing here. While yes Ferrari and every automotive OEM for that matter have had some very out there designs. Ultimately as the decades move on the shapes you are seeing are literally a consequence of tooling and how we were controlling the flow of metal at the time.

From a body shop perspective that body is a walk in the park not just from a production perspective but also quality control, where most of your effort goes into. It shouts cost cutting masked as “Design”.

The 849 and the 12 Cilindri both have the design language of a Nissan 300ZX, so then it’s only fitting the Luce borrows something from the Leaf…but even that I just don’t see it.

It could never look like a super car being a 4-seater 4-door so that expectation is equally outrageous.

A Ferrari isn’t competing with a Chery Tiggo; arguing the Tiggo is better because it’s cheaper and practical suggests you don’t understand the market - it’s the car version of saying a Casio G-Shock beats an AP Royal Oak because both tell time and if you squint it kind of looks the same.

It's stamped, mostly recycled, aluminum. Certainly more preferable than a guy with a hammer and a pocket full of shims.
