Why does the parking space seem too small for the car? Where/how does he park if the car is bigger than the parking space? Note the width and length are both compromised. I'd give this oke a break.Another Range Rover cvnt. Seriously, how do you get out of your car, look and think "That's fine, I'm a selfish d00s, that can't park and because of my car I think I can do whatever the fvck I want"

Just to understand. You want him to rather phase shift his car to park inside the concrete pillar?Another Range Rover cvnt. Seriously, how do you get out of your car, look and think "That's fine, I'm a selfish d00s, that can't park and because of my car I think I can do whatever the fvck I want"

It's not, I've seen guys in Everists, Rangers, Fortuners, Hilux's and other "big" cars fit in the space, perfectly, not halfway in the parking, sticking out and very skewedJust to understand. You want him to phase-shift his car to park inside the concrete pillar instead?

Some companies (especially those in the chemical industry) have a stipulation that you HAVE to reverse park, so in the event of an emergency, it is much quicker to vacate vehicles from the parking bays by just driving out instead of having to first reverse out...
Yes, done work for many processing and mining plants. They all require employees to reverse-park, especially in areas where explosions or other issues could occur. Some companies (especially those in the chemical industry) have a stipulation that you HAVE to reverse park, so in the event of an emergency, it is much quicker to vacate vehicles from the parking bays by just driving out rather than first reversing out...
Yep, mines as well, even at their admin buildings not on the actual mining siteAdd to that that at most factories it is part of health and safety to park backwards to aid getting out quicker.
Nobody complain if its a policy at a workplace.
Its these idiots doing it in parking at malls and shopping centres.
Its pretty simple. It is easier to drive and see going forward than backwards. So now you use the most difficult way to drive(backwards) to go into a small space(parking spot). Reversing out of a parking spot is easy as its a big open space. You would only do it the other way round of you lack IQ.

Unless of course you have parking spots like these...It actually makes MORE sense to park FRONT FIRST at a shopping mall, as the BOOT of the vehicle is then facing the open space between the two opposing lanes of parking bays, making it WAY easier to LOAD your groceries from your shopping trolley into the boot.
If you reverse parked, then the BOOT of your vehicle faces inwards - AWAY from the open space - meaning you have to schlepp your groceries out of the trolley & carry them BETWEEN your car & the one parked next to it, in order to then open the boot & load in your shopping...
Look at the silver VW Polo in the bottom right - it is reverse parked...

99% of people who I see reverse park at malls waste people time and obviously have no idea how to do it fast
I was only taught two ways of parking, reverse and parallel parking, in the driving school (not in South Africa) I went to. I struggle with nose first parking if I have to do 90 degrees turn to enter parking.
