Lotto worked for me the last two months and same for many other people but this does make me nervous.
I just checked now and I did indeed earn the points last month and track my rewards is showing it has been earned again for this month as well.
Secure chat agents are absolutely useless though so it’s impossible to know whether what they tell you is true or not.
The only exclusion is retail vouchers and purchases with eBucks.

Why not just a Takealot voucher? Much less hassle.

I tried to buy a R50 gift voucher on Takealot, but couldn't use it as it seems you can't make a part payment.

Fair enough :p

People have been saying Takealot is excluded, or it its ambiguous at the very least. Retail vouchers are excluded under the reward level points rules.

Takealot is in the Retail section under the e-Voucher tab.
Then there is a separate Retail tab which is likely what the rules actually meant when they said Retail is excluded.
 
I see that we can't get Makro vouchers anymore. When did that get removed? I was able to buy it a few months ago I think.

Around October of last year I was considering going that route to use my eBucks to get a new graphics card via one of their online partners.

The problem was that those Makro vouchers stated that they were only for in-store use.

Sigh, October last year, that was the time to stock up on DDR5 and NVMe's... if only we knew :X3:
