Fifa World Cup 2026

Football in Africa has a long way to go, crazy stat Morocco (probably Africa's best team) was the first team in history to field an 11 where not one of the players were born in that country.
I’m assuming all born in Europe but legible to represent Morocco due to parental citizenship?

Yeah most born and raised in Europe, their parents or grandparents were from Morocco so they have deul citizenship

The quality of the football seems to be very high at this WC, lots of minnows giving the big teams a run for their money or at the very least a solid game that isn't just a walkover?

Also the goalies are on something else, i've seen some spectacular saves.

Yeah time zones just suck wish there was more 6-7pm games, atleast the semis and final is at 9pm.

Just remember the 2031 Rugby World Cup is in the USA as well :(

Yeah as long as games are on the east coast it is fine, weekends also more managable. Might start saving for a trip to the World Cup should be a great experience in the US with some very impressive stadiums (And hopefully less dominated by polotics)

For a springbok final I might get up at 3 but not Bafana Bafana.

If I wake up to a win that will be amazing.

I got up at 3am for the first Scotland game against Haiti, but that was early Sunday morning so no probs with the rest of Sunday sleeping and relaxing, but Thursday morning with work a couple of hours later, erm, no thanks.
