That's why I said "sell". It's actually transferring your license to another user, in exchange for a fee. The platform that facilitates this would take a cut of the transaction. Not that difficult to implement technically, and everyone gets what they want...

Everyone complaining about $80 GTA VI which cost a billion dollars to make, while Nintendo sneaks in little ol' Mario Kart World also at $80..... hahaha

Bt games is on the bandwagon, with a digital code that will be emailed to you, or you could collect/pay R85 above retail for them to ship the official box to you

I am not going to make this thread about licensing, but selling (or transferring) licences isn't as simple as some make it out to be. The compliancy of it, where it is legal, is strict. You would have to provide proof that you have exhausted your rights. Nevermind the framework of the legalities, in particular of where the license may be used, and proof of legitimacy. These aren't risks that a facilitator would accept. They would need to ascertain that the seller has destroyed all media. Even the EU directive dictates that if a license is resold, that it has to be in perpetuaty. If I use Rockstar for an example, they have historically had a load of licenses that are attached to the media they have created that have expired.

Anyhow, if anyone wants to buy a license, there are plenty of grey marketplaces that sell not only game licenses, but also accounts. That is completely the risk of the buyer. As far as I am aware, it is only Steam and Epic that have allowed library permanancy. GOG tells you to download your installation media. They have even in some marketing material said that it may be shared, though their user agreements dictate otherwise.
 
So it seems that it wont matter where you pre-order they are all the same price, so I will then rather pre-order the ultimate edition on ps store. Because I can just see I will misplace the digital code somewhere :)

The ultimate edition is expensive but I see it that we will be playing the single player for a couple of hours but the online is where you will be putting in a lot of hours. GTA5 is still going and that is 10 years later.

Koodoo pre-orders went live, and there are R100 discount codes floating about on capitec rewards, and 15% extra when buying koodoo vouchers on vodapay. Takealot also went live, so there is the ebucks earn/ebucks spend option there.

No way am I paying that kind of money for more 'woke' nonsense. It's sad that grown men are fascinated with virtual Latina boobies instead of just going to the beach for real. What else does the game really offer?

I also refuse to buy a PS5 or Series X so I can't play it anyway nor do I want to. I'll watch a YouTube walkthrough video though.

What's woke about the trailer, screenshots and preorder announcement? Haven't seen a single woke thing yet.

they patched that **** out when they realized woke isn't fashion anymore hence previous delays.

Exactly. Get the standard getting some discount and then collect some change over the next few months to buy the R400 upgrade, or wait for the upgrade to go on special.
