1998 our worst? Pierre Issa scored a hatrick for South Africa against France. Messi and Ronaldo couldn't even dream of that.

In the 2026 World Cup the whole team only scored 2 goals in 4 matches. One from free play and one a penalty. Against Canada only 1 shot on target the whole match.

Read the online comments from neutral fans and non South Africans/ Canadians. This 2026 South African football team was a very bad advertisement for South African football.

The way we played last night was 100% a coaching issue. You could see they were told not to take risks. Williams is there. Get the ball to Williams.

No self respecting player gets the ball in or on the edge of the box and immediately runs away from goal.

Yip , their development has been impressive since the early 90s .They actually have a close football relationship with Brazil , which helped them develop as a footballing nation.

Web streaming is usually 30 seconds behind.. I see sporty TV also has a channel ons dstv that is about 5-10 seconds behind.

Brazil turning up the heat wouldn't mind if Japan scored again and Brazil had to go to all in.
 
Japan is not going to win like this.
Brazil will eventually get another one in.
 
Wish more games were this time now it can go to extra time, penalties and I can still be in bed by a reasonable time.
 
I see they're advertising the half time show. How's that going to work? The last half time show in the US was horribly divisive. Will they be picking a Trump approved artist to headline? Which will probably just leading to booing? I guess Trump isn't attending so far to avoid the inevitable booing he'd attract.
