Fifa World Cup 2026

Netherlands vs Morocco going to penalties too. Whatever the outcome, expect some chaos in the streets of the Netherlands tomorrow.
 
These European teams need to rethink player development because the imported players can't hit the goal from the penalty spot.

Where did I say we played attractive football? I literally said we committed an act of terror against Mexico.

Also, I am not wrong. Defensively we were solid. Even in the Mexico game, it took boneheaded decisions - especially the first red - to undo us, Mexico didn't exactly run us over. The Czechs couldn't leverage their significant size advantage over us and the Koreans, fielding one of their better teams in a while, lost to us. Canada needed 90 minutes to find the winner. We were not exciting to watch, far from, and we have serious issues scoring goals, but we have a defensive platform to work from.

In another of my post I also commented on our inability to produce goal scorers on the domestic level, so I am well aware that there are aspects of our domestic game that need a lot of work.
 
With Italy (did not qualify) Germany and Netherlands out, England's chances don't look so bad. Still a lot of football to be played.

They are on the other side of the draw, so doesn't affect them as they would only have to face them in the final. England are already on the 'easier' side.

England and Argentina are possible opponents in the semi-finals. Do England still have a free handball to use?

Tackle lol. Have you ever played soccer? There’s contact with the goalkeeper at almost every corner. This was never a foul.

VAR is completely inconsistent in this world cup. Either they’re all using different rules, or they’re biased.

im hardly even following this wc cos of the times

but catching up a little in the mornings as we go

2 big upsets ..morocco been playing well but germany was a tough one

If they make it through they'll be up against Argentina eventually, who have had everything primed for them to win the whole thing.
