Discovery Vitality 2026

Has anyone checked if the Samsung Ring's sleep tracking counts for the Sleep rewards? I don't see it being excluded, Discovery's website just says "Samsung Health Device"

Is it true that, as from 2026, one does not have to have a life product or insurance with Discovery to sign up for Vitality Active?

As I understand it, you need some sort of product, like a bank account. I don't think it's a stand alone option.

Looked at the Garmin option and does not seem that great when it launches tbh, got the R799 activation fee and then you need to have a qualifying bank account, how much is that and then you limited to R8k at sportmans, cannot get anything decent for that price tbh

Yeah I agree. You can get up to 75% back on a Apple Watch, but some of us don't use Apple...they really need to add other options.

Seems like another wasted opportunity.

I am on Vitality active and went with the watch offer where they pay up to R300 which is decent as my subscription is R159 a month, so have a small pay in, but get to keep the watch after 2 years. Went with the Venu 2 last of the metal or aluminum cases

Yip it sure is. I want to get the new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 if I like it to replace my Pixel Watch 3. Need it for the extra points that I can't get using the Pixel :(

Oh I meant the reward one where you get 75% off if you reach all your weekly goals. It's only Apple Watch.

That link doesn't have the one I may want anyway.
not crazy about that and also the fact I need to get a credit card and too many hoops

garmin benefit seems exactly the same as apple? apple also has activation fee and a limit. Anything above the limit you pay in yourself at point of purchase or is there new info out? I am still going by what they said end of last year when they teased its release but dont think it has ever been released yet.
