That looks much better HR and pace wise for a base long run.

My left knee is still FUBAR so no running for me until Monday. 😭

Tried yesterday and only got 1km in before knee said nope. It's starting to feel better though.
Yeah you see the runna app keeps b@tching at me if I go too fast. 🤣 I am learning slowly.

@Crusader Did a 5km treadmill run in the Salomon AG3 this morning! Wow!

Very comfy shoe, it does get a bit warm and i am not 100% sure i'd go running in 35 degree temps with it haha but very comfy and what surprised me the most is often even after my first run i can see some form of compression marks on the foam and with this one there is nothing.

Was a bit of a slow morning on the treadmill but ranged from a 7min/km to about 4:30min/km and i enjoyed it most at the faster speeds

Thanks for the recommendation, was a good R850 odd spent

That's great to hear. I think the beaded foam makes a huge difference in the compression. Mine still feel like the day I got it.

You get used to the warmer upper. I ran in mine in 35+C and didn't have issues. And the GRVL is definitely even hotter. The shoe is so comfy I put up with the extra heat. In the Winter it's actually a bonus.

My friend told me someone got lost on the 25km route and did 30 something kms before they found him
Eish, yeah, it can end badly, even if you have your phone and GPX file loaded on your watch. Glad he was found

Managed to finally do a 5K yesterday and today. Left knee is still giving issues, it's fine while walking, but after the 1st km of running there's a persistent dull ache at the centre of my knee. Not bad enough to force immediate stop, but you are aware of a twinge at each stride. Not sure if I should power through or give it more time to recover.

HR isn't pretty

Patella?

Hey, zone 2 is where the magic happens. Surprised the Garmin doesn't beep you into oblivion too.
AS much as I want to ZONE 2, running with a pram makes its impossible unless you do ultra slow jog.

Maintaining these levels arent that difficult now that I am used to more Zone4/5

Running with a pram also means my V02 max reading is incorrect as I run with and without pram so the HR v Speed etc isnt accurate

The downward trend started when I started running with the pram - not phased though feel fitter than ever.

I also find it hard to stay in Zone 2 and I run without a pram. Would need to walk. Maybe just more unfit than I thought
