Perhaps the silver lining is that Trump does all his things in the open, so when the history books are written, there won't be any ambiguity, with a different person this would have been done in secret and FIFA would convince us this was their decision.
Now at least all of Infantino dirty dealings are out in the open.

Well, they've been called MAFIFA for a while now since the bribing claims and sell outs came out. They have to an extent kept it off the field but they've now made a football decision to appease a demagogue.

You are being dishonest, you know very well what makes this episode of FIFA corruption exceptional, a President of a host nation blatantly influencing football matters to this level has never happened before.

I suppose its not the teams fault but they also got an easy ride, the whole thing stinks.
If the USA beat Belgium its probably going to get ugly.
Had no issues with the US team before this and I can't blame the team but phew, this is one way to make sure most neutrals root for Belgium in their up coming game.

What's sad is that Belgium, despite their stars, are there for the taking without the political meddling. Belgium are useless on their own.
