Yup, unlike dark horses Norway who are an exciting and fun team, Belgium is a team past their sell-by date. Lots of oldies and Belgium has never reached their potential, especially with the so-called 'Golden Generation'.

At this rate, Trump will pick up a phone and call Infantino to reverse a penalty decision against the USA during the game, after being given the green light by the ref and VAR, nothing is off limits anymore.
 
The last time this happened was in 1962 according to the NY Times:

Really good game, i just finished watching. But yeah adding more time to try and give Brazil a second chance was ridiculous. Luckily nothing came from it.

From the start you claimed this WC was not in the best interests of the game, because somehow it is different to all the others.

Were you as vocal about the deeply corrupted 2018 and 2022 bids?

People talking about the US being helped along the way should go rewatch Korea's run in 2002 and the decisions they got when knocking out powerhouses like Italy, Portugal and Spain.

People can no longer pretend and ignore the obvious. The fact that it had to take the involvement of the orange one for the average fan to throw their hands up shows how ignorant they have been to who and what FIFA is all about.
 
So far the officiating has been great. Except last few days.

Paraguay game, ref had no control and going soft on a team who were playing dirty is bad.

England red card was ridiculous. It was a fair tackle. 100% ball. Luckily it didn't impact the game. I don't like supporting the English but if anyone can say FIFA tried to fix a game for a host country this would have been it. (It should also be reversed. )
Bazil extra time was ridiculous. Brazil still lost so all good. Should just have been 2-0

Messi wasn't shown a card for way worse.
The USA guy was accidental, maybe a yellow. To reverse it in the review process is fair.

You want consistency across matches.

In the grand scheme of things I really don't give a damn about this mediocre player having his ban rescinded. The USA doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the WC. What angers me is this country that already thinks rules don't apply to them politically wants to now impose themselves on sport. **** the USA.

That is an administrative mistake by FIFA then obviously it shouldn't be red.

The actual outcome is justified and that's all that matters.
