Ordering off Aliexpress? Advice?

I hope yours works better than mine, that has been stuck at "linehaul office" since 28July.... I don't even know what it means

Its most likely in Dubai/Singapore, from my previous orders it goes to those regions to handle slow mail stuff until its traceable on SAPO

Shockingly once it's with SAPO its quick to its destination

Your tracking number starts with ZA and ends with R?

No, AP??????????? or UG???????????MV
I also have one of thse UG?????????MV tracking numbers and it doesn't register on the SAPO global Track & Trace, although it claims that it's a Maldives tracking number.

Interestingly, I have a UV?????????UZ tracking number which claims to be Uzbekistan which tracks just fine and shows that it has arrived at the JNB sorting facility.

First time buying from Aliexpress, no updates in over 3 weeks, is there any recourse or do I just wait for the delivery period to end on the 30th and just ask for a refund?1000062035.jpg

So the ALI delivery date has passed.
I tried the 2 tracking numbers on the SAPO tracking page and the one number worked.
Parcel is at Tshwane sorting centre now....

FYI, in case you haven't realised this yet: AP numbers are temporary. It means Cainiao hasn't yet handed your package to a delivery partner. Once it does, the tracking number quoted in AliExpress changes to something else, which indicates who will deliver it (like the UG???MV one which is obviously SAPO).

I've seen before that if you enter the AP number in Cainiao's own tracker (https://global.cainiao.com/) it will actually update and spew out the "real" tracking number, since the two are linked.

Yo guys

Is legit payment link?

For future reference

Carplay/android auto module:
R1450 + free shipping

Meili Logistics import tax and stuff :
R475
Link broken

TAX looks normal for Electronic device ( around 20% ) then the standard delivery and clearance / handling fee our end.

I'm sure if you want it to go to the SAPO you can request the item bought online via a message to the seller.

Imile/SpeedAF/Buffalo are 3rd party clearance agencies - they charge a percentage for handling/licking/shaking/scanning and then the stock standard delivery fee ( AKA petrol in the car ) They were set up to speed the process up so people didn't have to wait 5 months for "screen guards" or whatever from Ali or Temu back in the day.

I'm not complaining, its just reference for anyone curious and finds this thread in the future 😛

Was just curious if that site is legit and I'm not getting my ass scammed.
