Hi, everyone
First post, but hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I'm axxess+vumatel and am really struggling in the evenings with MS.
Both my wife and I play games in our free time, and notably I play world of warcraft connecting to EU servers. During the day time my ms is perfectly fine (160-170ms). However, during the evening (from 19:30 to about 23:00) the ms just sky rockets to around 1200. I get massive lag spikes throughout that time and i usually have to swap to my mobile line which is then perfectly fine, so i know its not the game or the PC its definitely the fibre.
I have escalated the matter, but I get told, "speed tests are fine" or "local ping was fine" and i try to explain that its in spikes to the eu servers and its not a speed issue but to no avail. I also sent in ping reports but that didnt get me anywhere either.
Does anyone know whats causing this? The only thing i can think of is that the line is being throttled by vumatel to international connections in the evenings, but unfortunately that makes it completely useless for gaming.
If anyone has any advice on escalating this or past experience please let me know.
Thank you!
