Today I was called by an ex-colleague who said that a Lisa Michaels from Home Affairs in Pretoria (if she exists, let me know, older white female) was trying to get a hold of my husband, and needed to know where he currently works or lives.
I received a message from Home Affairs this morning...
If you have experienced a temporary alert that disappears when you load a page, something like this:

It seems to go away if you do the following:
1. Select alerts and "Show all..."
2. The select "Mark Read"
3. It will ask to "please confirm"
The problem seemed to go away.

Does anybody know if it's possible to get alerts set up on an MTN contract, that will let you know when your data bundle is about to run out? I'm pretty sure both Vodacom and Cell C has this.
Customer care says that I must use USSD or dial 16202 but this will mean I have to keep typing stuff...
