Got this badly worded mail earlier today:


TELKOMSA 2011 FREE 20GIG

Dear Customer,

Due to our currently updated systems, we are given you free 20Gig in your adsl account you click on the below website;

The URL leads to a Formstack page with just three fields on it, all label in Afrikaans only, with the page title tag indicating that the form belongs to a Formstack user named Gigaboy.

I've sent a note to formstack advising them of the abuse of their system, but thought others here might want to take note of it as well, as it seems to be a local trying their luck...
 
And a super fast repsonse from Formstack a few minutes after I submit the note to them:

Hello Greg,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have killed this phishing account.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and i vote this should go on the front page and perhaps someone from telkom responding.
 
I think a bit of a witchhunt to find this GigaBoy is in order..

Pathetic phishing like this needs to be punished with a pulbic tar and feathering.
