Forum Alert Issue

If you have experienced a temporary alert that disappears when you load a page, something like this:

It seems to go away if you do the following:

1. Select alerts and "Show all..."


2. The select "Mark Read"


3. It will ask to "please confirm"



The problem seemed to go away.

I understand. There is an episode 1, 2 and 3 etc.

At least it seems to be a temp solution, for me at least then.

It's nice as a temporary fix, but after doing it a few times a week it gets a bit annoying.

Yes - as discussed in the original thread it's reoccurring and something we have to wait for Xenforo to fix.

It was a permanent fix for me. I went scrolling through the alerts though and found the ones I never "saw".

It's permanent until you receive another alert, or several alerts, and one goes unseen.

If you go though your notifications there are messages that you can mark as read by clicking the radio button.

I know about the issue and that it was reported. I didn't realise there was an attempt to a solution.
