How to send email when power outage
I have a RCT 2000va UPS connected to a HP Proliant Microserver gen 8 via USB cable I have ViewPower UPS software installed on the server When the power goes off, the UPS shuts down the server as it should But no email is sent I'm using Gmail (smtp.gmail.com) on port 587 SSL and SMTP...- phoenix55

Does anyone have a ups that turns off the Linux computer when power fails
Hi everyone, I have been struggling trying to find software for my current ups setup . I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has a ups that turns off the computer when the power fails. Preferably one with a schedule so you can set it to turn off and on at set times. I'm thinking i must just buy...- Bl@nk

what software can i use with my ups now that flash doesn't work
HI everyone. I currently use viewpower to run my ups. I always use the schedule. Problem now is that flash no longer works so I can't login to the dashboard. Does anyone have an alternative? I did try search the forums but it says "ups" is too short so it won't search the word. The only forum... -

Alternative software for Mecer UPS
I currently have a Mecer 2000VA UPS that uses ViewPoint software which I have loaded on my microserver to monitor things ViewPoint makes use of Flash which is no longer supported from December 2019 I am told Can anyone recommend alternative software for this UPS to use as not sure when Flash...
