0800 375 375

Well this morning I tried again to query the status of my fault. I almost fell of my chair when the phone was answered after about 15 minutes only to get the following

to be told by the operator that i must call 0800 375 375 for adsl faults and must use option 1 not option 2 even if i want to query an existing fault ????????????? Goodbye

%%%% Them when you phone 0800 375 375 they clearly instruct you to use option 2 to query a fault:mad:

Moklet, I dunno if youve seen my site

I have been contacted by various Telkom people and one of them has kindly offered to to try help get resolution and meaningful feedback if he can have:
Contact details, ADSL/Circuit/Telephone number, Ref number and a brief description of problem.

I dont want to make his email address public but if you email me or PM me that info I will gladly pass it on to him.

My fault reporting suggestion

Hi guys

I have been experiencing the same "symptoms" regarding the help desk number. I noticed elsewhere on this that Telkom's CEO's e-mail address was published.

Why not report the fault directly to him, something along the line of "Due to unacceptable response times of the helpdesk staff, I would like to report the following fault"

I am sure somebody will pay attention, and hopefully act on it when the mailbox starts filling up with fault reports.
