1-grid is driving me insane. I used to have hosting with exclusive web, which I cancelled as I had no need for it anymore.

I gave my 1 months notice, which I have confirmation of. Somehow at the same time exclusive web sold their hosting/customer base to 1-grid (Would have been one other reason to cancel)

But somehow 1-grid keeps seeing me as an active customer sending me invoices and payment reminder on each of them I have responded and received a ticket number. But no action is taken.

They just keep sending invoices and reminders to pay.

Seeing that they not taking action, maybe a forum post will kick them into action.

Looks like I am not the only customer with the same issue

Maybe MyBB can follow up with a nicely written article

1-Grid billing is a nightmare of nice.

Support is iffy as well. Agents are super lazy...

I've been gladly moving my new clients to domains.co.za and other hosts.

Oh wow, I didn't realise Exclusive Web had sold their clients to 1-Grid. That's too bad, they seemed like a nice bunch here in PE. Very unfortunate for their clients though.

Seems like 1 Grid just don't let go of their customers. I had a domain parked there that I need to use, and requested it be transferred to another host multiple times. Each time they said they never received the domain request.(nonsense)

Eventually I logged tickets over and over and out of the blue support contacted me and said sure, that's no problem and followed the request. This process took close to a year, and I was at the point of letting the domain expire and picking it up elsewhere. Horrible experience.

Anyone else with above mentioned hosting provider had their accounts hacked recently?

This is the second time I have to assist a client of theirs who's email had been hacked, and it happened twice in one week.

In this case the perpetrator(s) also gained access to his Microsoft account, and deleted it along with his Microsoft 365 subscription.

Very curious.

Any chance that those passwords have been compromised and included within a data leak?

Aha, yes, that is possible.

Will check.

The password was changed this week after it was discovered, but it stopped working again later.

With the previous client they clearly had access to the server, because no amount of password changes made a difference.

1-Grid's customer support is abysmal. I've been trying for over a week to access DNS records for 3 domains I registered there... Eventually on Friday, having reached the limit of my patience, I initiated transfer of all 6 of my domains to Absolute Hosting. Still waiting for 1-Grid to accept the transfer requests... I've logged tickets, sent emails, used the Whatsapp support channel and attempting telephonic support.

Holding time thus far: >45min

The sooner I can rid my life of 1-Grid, the better.

Hi @tniland

If I remember correctly, you had sent us your 1-Grid login credentials?

If so, please reopen that ticket so that we can assist with updating your domains dns server records on 1-Grid's customer portal to point through to us whilst you wait for assistance from 1-Grid.

If you don't come right with the transfers then please let us know via ticket and we can advise further.

https://lashmar.media/build-your-own-online-store/ is a straight copy/paste from https://manoxblog.com/2018/09/26/how-to-create-setup-and-launch-a-profitable-online-store-seriously/ with the hyperlinks removed - as an SA site, you still reference state and federal laws.

I don't think I'd trust a company that copy/pastes their info from blogs as their own without even listing citations.
