Just heard on the radio first 100000 customers get to call 1 landline number for free. Anyone know if this is on prepaid on contract?
 
Are you in JHB and which station announced it.
 
I also heard that ad and literally laughed. The first 100 000 people? Do they really think they will find that many people stupid/retarded/guilable enough to sign a 2 year contract with Telkom in a hurry?

They're gonna have to offer a lot more to sweeten the deal. Everybody knows you're gonna get raped if you sign a contract with them!

Its awesome if u call home or one specific landline a lot....so u take out an 8ta contract...and u get free unlimtied calls to one landline from your 8ta cell for free for 2 yrs...call duration 29mins n 59secs per call..then u pay...like callmore is free for the 1st hour of the call...

Its contracts only....
 
after a month telkom had bout 160000 customers
but thats with the pre paid customers
although ppl dont like telkom much you have to say that nothing comes close to this
free calls for 2 years to 1 telkom line
so u take out the cheapest contract for under R100 a month, sell the phone or keep it n enjoy the free minutes
its good
reps can use it to phone their office every day
