As president nothing stands in his way to fire Shaun citing the high court order as reason.
 
It would be interesting to see if Ramaphosa makes no changes at all, and simply starts asking people to do their job. Give them enough rope to hang themselves if they screw up.
 
Hang JZ an Guptas for treason, as well as all those connected to them and the corrupt looting the food out the poorest of the poors mouths. That is what they are guilty of, treason
 
The very tip of the top of his list should be to bring our international relationships back on track with where Madiba and MBeki (for a lack of doing anything much really in the latter case) left them.

SA engaged fairly with the whole world then without fear or prejudice in a manner respectable to all good and decent countries out there. Since then... Favors for Russia and China, Dalai Llama denied entrance, African dictators given special treatment and protected from the ICC. Withdrawal from the ICC! Losing favor with allied nations in as far as visa requirements are concerned. Ever more protectionist trade policies. And so, so much more. All making us look like just another failed state.

We have always had the potential to be a world class country. We must act like one on the international stage.

For the rest... Solve the employment crises a bit, solve the crime crises a bit, solve the education crises a bit. We'll be going in the right direction which is more than anybody can realistically ask for.

He just needs to clean up the deal and get rid of the corrupt tenders.
And appoint competent people to oversee the implementation of it.

We don't actually even need more capacity right now. Quite the contrary. Eskom is facing a serious problem with lower demand. There's already talk that Medupi and Kusile's full capacity might never need to come online.

It's ideal circumstances to phase out as much coal as possible in favor of solar, wind and batteries. Essentially.. There's no rush and no pressure to build additional capacity. Eskom's primary concern should be finding jobs for it's bloated workforce now that it has profitability issues. Renewable energy creates many, many jobs. So Eskom should sign up solar and wind IPPs and arrange for a large part of it's workforce to be transferred to that industry as well as mothballing some of its more expensive generating capacity. Solar especially tracks well with electricity demand except for the early evening - Thus studies have shown that solar removes much of the need for the most expensive generating capacity - The peak demand capacity which runs for a very small part of any given year.

In such a way Eskom can become more profitable, more jobs can be created, and our energy system can be greener.
 
CR can't go about shuffling like Zuma. Whatever he's going to do will be in agreement with the party first.
