1024 upgrade survey

not once did anyone say it will be before 1 Sept did they? it just shows telkom is busy preparing for the upgrade. getting as many to "sync" at 4mbps as possible before friday.

Are you kidding me? Look how many people are posting around convinced they're getting the new speeds simply because of their new sync speeds.

I doubt the process of preparing the dslams for the new sync speeds was more involved than the pressing of a few buttons so I'm not overwhelmingly impressed by that either.

Sorry for the derailment - if you want to debate the term upgrade then we can do that in another thread. As far as I'm concerned something has to have a tangible improvement before it can be called an upgrade.

If nothing else changed - ie your sync speed stayed at 4096 and yet no noticeable speed increase materialised after the 1st - would you still say you've been upgraded?
