Somewhere far far away.
I'm sure all Vodacom customers at least know about the *111# menu thingy.
To check balances or to buy bundles with.

My question is are there any special way to get to certain parts of the menu, instead of going step by step..

example *111*1*1# (For like option 1 then option 1 again.. To get to balance inquiry directly.)
Instead of going *111# then answer 1 and the answer 1 again...

Yeah I'm very lazy person and would like to be able to add all options into once command.. :o

So are there any special way to type in those options or just go to slow painful route of entering each answer????

yes u can do so, i do this for checking airtime on a regular basis as my contract is a work one. if i go over i must pay in.

try the following -> *111*1*2#

Automatically goes to airtime window.

It's best to make a note of the menu options first , then when you need to you can use it as a short code be going directly to the appropriate option.

Are all of these short codes supposed to be working now?

On my pre-paid SIM *111*1*2# shows my SMS bundle balance, but *111*1*7# which I expect to show my data bundle balance just gives an error message.

All of them are not implemented, but try this one: *111*502#
Thanks! :D Works in a contract SIM, will check pre-paid later.

I found another undocumented one in VMB 10; *111*501# to find your own number.

*111*500#

Airtime and data balance at last!!!!! No need to go dial select and select! Always wondered how Vodafone connect gave me the balance with data lol

also save the code as a contact... Saves me a lot of time.

Do you by any chance know how to find your own number on a Cell C prepaid SIM?

This is pretty usefull. Usually i would need to take the Subs SIM, get the Techi's test phone, put it in and then i needed to send a Please Call Me to myself.

Hi,
i have a problem.
I have tried to buy a databundle of 600MB yesterday and it failed with an error.
I have tried again and it was fine. I checked the data balance and i saw that 1200 MB was added.
Then i phoned the customer care on 111 they told me that 600 MB is free to use during night. So left it.
Then today when check my account on vodacom.co.za i see that R189 was charged twice.
I phoned customer care again and they said they can see anything because i am nashua customer and i must phone Nashua for help.
I phoned Nashua and they said they dont have full access and only vodacom can help.
Does anybody else had same problem?
