is it possible to have 2 simcards for the 120GB R1800 Promo? I would like to use one with my samsung and with my laptop 3G dongle.

Possible, yes. But Telkom do not provision a secondary SIM as yet.

is it possible to use a Samsung galaxy s3 as a wifi modem? and wht speeds will it have?

Yes, use the wifi/hotspot option. Depends on many factors. how far are u from the base station etc, is the base station u connecting to full of users.
