2007/2008 WI tour to SA thread

:mad:SABC have gone and messed up coverage of Polly's last game.

Bunch of nobs. I swear. Just when pollock was about to bowl last over they mess up and show annoying adverts. And even when it comes back they have no sound or commentary.... how the hell?

That really sucked on sabc's part. Did anyone get to see polly's last over?

It also happened on Supersport - must've been a problem from in the stadium.

What a result! Well done South Africa. :)

An excellent innings by Gibbs and the end of Shaun Pollock's great career.

Farewell Polly you LEGEND!! I had a big frog in my throat listening to Polly's farewell speech, he nearly choked up himself when it came time to give the wifey a mention.

What a brilliant sendoff, hitting the winning runs at home in Durbs and here in the Bullring in a 5-0 series whitewash, it doesn't get any better than that. This series is one that I'll never forget, pity the Windies are so bloody unfit and so prone to injuries.

Next up, Bangladesh. :D

Yeah I would have loved to have rather seen him leave the game with us beating the Aussies :D The Windies without Gayle is like a plane with no wings. FFS I'm more disappointed with them not putting up a challenge after that first test than I'm excited about us winning the series. But nonetheless farewell to one of the greatest legends.

Windies started the tour nicely, but quickly slid into playing like dogs balls.

Idiots.

Well done SA.

i would not say idiots man

i mean 295 and 260odd in their last 2 games is rather good if you ask me

just their bowling has let them down alot or our batting has been amazing

That's where Gayle comes in. He was actually a good captain, setting good fields at the right times, rotating and using the right bowlers at the right times. Bravo is a bit too uninspired as a captain.

Good captains win with even average bowling attacks, they talk to their bowlers, motivate them through tough spells and tell them where to bowl. The likes of Taylor and Edwards aren't exactly bad bowlers, they just lacked proper guidance.

Yay!!! bangladesh lol!!

They gonna get whipped, but I support them 100% and I think alot of people will!:)

Ashraful is playing well atm.

The Windies can get 500 runs, but if they cant back it up, huh.

I'm just sick and tired of the useless windies.

All's i hear about from windies commentators is talk about windies from 20 years ago. Woopee.
