Why the UCB couldnt have identified 1 wrist spinner at school level in nearly 2 decades and ensured he stays in the game after school is beyond me ...
 
Sorry to say, but this series is just depressing me. :(

Those supersport ads that warn of hearing loss, heart palpitations etc should be reported to the ASA - the only thing that I'm at risk of is narcolepsy.

Yeah I reckon Schultz would have become an all time great. What he did to those Sri Lankians was nothing short of carnige and even his name strikes fear into the hearts... Brett "the dutchman" schultz!!!!...ooooh..

Ntini bowled like a noob today, especially at the end with full tosses and short balls. He needs to go back to domestic level and learn to add some new stuff to his arsenal. How long does it take one to add a slower ball to their attack?

Looks like we have a decent score to chase, and may even lose this one.
 
Losing this game would not be the worst thing to happen in this series, though we still have to actually lose it.
 
Kingsmead is our kryptonite. If the Windies would have a chance to win a match in the series, they would have to try and do it today. Because there's almost no way they're going to beat us in Jhb.

How was that one-handed catch that the spectator took (one of the times) when Browne hit Ntini for six? Great stuff :D

Yeah I still dig him but yes, he got hit to every corner of Sahara stadium and then some, was painful to watch. Apparently he bowls a slower ball in the nets quite often but isn't confident enough to bowl it a match but if ever his career needs something risky and innovative to revive it, it is that slower ball yes... Best he keep practicing it. Thing that worries me though is those dreadful full tosses he bowled in his last over may have been an attempt at the slower ball. If the ball doesn't come out the back of the hand properly that's what happens, full toss,(or he may have been going for the yorker). I fancy only Ntini will be feeling a bigger toss than his bowling tonight...
 
very efficient run chase from SA tonight, well done to the boys and Pollock, what a man??!!! Hell, he is going to be missed...

He's played a lot of matches in his career, you'd expect a bad one now and again.
I saw Waqar Younis get smacked for close to 100 runs last time he was here. Was at Newlands, saw him at the Sport's Cafe at the waterfront the night before.
He smokes Chesterfield and drinks Whiskey.
