Well done Pieterson. You deserve your place in the side the way you batted in the last over. Obviously it was best for Polly not to face any balls in case he got injured. Even that psycological 200 was not worth the off chance of Polly getting injured.

Only 13 needed off the last over for 200 and we get. Wait for it...... 6. Nice batting.

We gonna really have to choke them for runs in the 1st 15 overs or so and Fleming needs to go early. Our Vaas=Polly and he's probably gonna be the one to get rid of Flem.

We actually need to lose this one with a really bad Ntini bowling performance to get him dropped for Langeveld. This game does not matter, it's the England one that is important and we need them to start playing the best side for the last few games. If they get past the next one.

I sure hope Smith doesn't think the way you do.
I will never understand the way he does think. We should have beaten WI by 120 runs. That would have meant a win here and loss against England would probably still have seen us through. What does he do? Well, he uses the game as bowling practice. Now, it's win against England or out. This game will probably only be good for a 2/3/4 position decider.

If Polly and Makhaya bowl well then it is going to be a tight game, still think we are going to loose though. Unless Peterson proves us all wrong and turns in a world-class spin performance.

If smiddy loses this - he'll be under loads of pressure...
He must surely be nervous knowing he has to go out and defend this total.

After this world cup I seriously wanna see some good spinners in the domestic league, the shortage of class spinners has gone on long enough and we seriously need one. Pietersen is alright but not a spinning guru by any means. So yeah lets see what happens.

Heres an idea. It's not a bad thing for us to lose here, provided we beat England. Lets say NZ beat us and then beat Aus and we beat England. The likely standings are:

NZ
Aus
SL
SA

We play NZ in the semis and Aus play SL.

NZ just need to nudge the ball around - if SA loses this chances are that they will play oz in semi

What happened to Johan Botha ?

Saw him play in a club match at LC last year.
