Capetalk caller in Caribbean reports that proteas were out partying to 4AM and were trashed. If true, then the excessive alcohol could well explain the cramping ...

I think that SL is a great team, and should make it to the final but, sorry to say, I just don't see anyone beating Aus right now.

Of course, if SL were to beat Australia I hope that do it by a massive margin, and knock Aus off the top spot. Might make things a little easy for us :)

Aus are a little weak on the spinning side but have close to if not the best batting attack at the WC (Tough call between them and SA although Aus have more depth in the middle order). It would be interesting to see how Aus so if they lose a couple of quick ones (Hayden especially). Symonds and Hussy have not had much to do and they may work against them.

Yes. Something else, I'm not big on Cricket, but there's no bowler in the world I'd rather watch than Muralitharan! :)

abe im sorry but lets see the most rounded side does not include aus? the team that has something like its last 26 world cup matches and looks set for another world win

SOUTH AFRICA is one of poorer team on a slow pitch, but put us on a fast pitch and we are no 1

this does not make us the best team beacause if we play the semi's on a slow pitch we out, even if play on a slow pitch in the final we out

this is of course if we beat england once again if its a slow pitch we out

basically if i was bookie i would SA sitting 25/1 to get through to the semi's and 100/1 to win it
