Sri Lanka 188/8 (45.2 ov)

SL have really made a balls up.

After losing early wickets, they came back really well, only to throw the potential good score down the drain.

A couple of 6s and 4s near the end have helped SL. 218/9 now with an over to go. Interesting that McGrath has been one of the most expensive of the Aus bowlers. Him and Tait.

SL 226 all out. Don't think it is nearly enough against the Aus batting.

Tait - inexperienced, immature, waywood, and fast.

I think that one can generally accept he will be expensive.

My guess is that Aus will try to totally dominate SL and take away all of their momentum.

My guess is that Australia will not try to 'dominate'.

Rather, a 'comfortable' win by playing usual game without being agressive and potentially losing the match.

I'm listening to commentary from my phone so I also haven't seen a single ball today.

Possible runout now..

Australia 111/2 (19.4 ov) - looks like they are dominating :)

Seriously though, I don't think you can put Aus and comfortable in the same sentence. They are such a dominating side.

Boy, i've even been impressed with the way the Aussies have been playing during this world cup.

Although WC is still underway, they have been really impressive thus Far.

Well, certaintly looks like a OZ and SA semi game of which it'll be knock time from then on......

Prior to WC Aussie had crap time Odi's and other teams were rather confident of breaking this Aussie side. But jeez like, these guys have BMT, know doubt about that, they thoroughly professional unit who know very aspect of winning.

Aussie bowling also, is not a very experienced one either, apart from Mccgrath, the others dont have many ODI's up their sleeves.

Prior to WC i didnt think Aussies would win it again. I believed 'law of averages' would come into play and 3 WC's would not come Pontings way. Look they aint their yet, and the only reason that they wont win it again, would be because they lost it themselves, not because the other team played better.

Problem is that ODI's are a lottery most of the time. Toss and other things can impact a result. Normally ODI's are a 50/50 but in Aus's case, I would say 75/25. That means they gotta lose some time. I hope for their sake it is not in the semis or final.

They will win this one with 10 overs to spare. Give SL some food for thought.

The semis and final are going to be a tough affair, whoever is in them. NZ beat SL in a warm up before the tourny proper and could easily do it again in the semis. If SA in the semis with Aus, we can beat them on our day and if it's England or WI, they can also do it as WI did in the champions trophy recently or England did in Aus.
