Hrm SA vs Aus if they win tomorrow.. should be interesting heck we don't even know who's gonna be in the final 11 hahaha

Losing a game as easy as it was has negative physchological effects on players.

It aint just a 'ah, well we lost'. It aint like.

I wonder if Smiddy knows what team he'll have. lol

I'm getting rather dispondant with smiddy and the way he talks. It irratates me with his sugar coated squizzling when he repsonds to media.

Anyway, i like the guy as a cricketer, but hate it when he opens his mouth, not to mention his his attitude in the last few games, of which reading in the media suggests that he is speaking a lot of arrangance, of which no other captain does the way that he does, and, might i add, is not justifiiable coming from his mouth.

I kinda got the impression from the Loss to NZ, that it didnt really matter, cause they've got another game.. (suggesting the the Pommie game was already won).

And this was the attitude smiddy had before he left SA.

I read it more like the pommy game is the one that counts and not the NZ game. Not that they already had it won.

BTW: SL will probably come out of this game a little concerned because it was their batsmen who were not being rested that failed.
 
Andrew Symonds is an awesome player - even if I hate him with his dread-locks and white lips.

smith is due for a big innings, i think the return of bosman or kemp should be good
 
I agree Abe. I think they went into the game wanting to hide Murali, Vaas and Malinga from the Aussies until they were playing a game that counted. While they know they've still got all their dangerous bowlers in reserve, the way that their top order was uprooted will surely concern them.
 
Few more hours before the game starts.

Hope Smith plays the difficult overs and just play naturally and not the agricultural stuff he is doing lately. Our players should start taking less balls to 'get into the game'. We bat so negative so often and dig us into bigger holes than we were in. SL did it really well last night to recover though they got hammered. Hope Aus peaked today and gonna slide to the bottom in the next few games.
 
yup negativity is why we will never be the best team

it hink man for man we have better talent that the aussies, just their frame of mind is way better
 
yeah Aus have the better team and are very consistent but SA can pull the odd surprise from time to time which means we have a chance.
 
Im not so sure about having the better team, I think its like everyone says, they have the more consistent team. They perform game after game and they dont put any game into the hands of ONE player. If something does go wrong they know the rest of the team will up their game to fix it. SA is also capable of that but Id say like once in every 5 games. Also Australia seem to have a concrete set game plan whereas we chop and change like mad. Heres hoping we have a cracker of a match today. Go SAF!!!!
 
I cant wait for pieterson to go for less than 10 and we go on and win the WC. Will show him why he should've been more patriotic and stayed in SA and played for SA.

We all know that is not going to happen. SA deserve to lose today. It's their own fault they're in this mess to begin with ;)
 
pitbull the strength of a team of lies in moving on and getting on with the task at hand, just because we have played badly does not mean we deserve this

we need to dig deep and beat england

look at the aussies they came into the world cup having lost the last 5 out 6 of their last one day games, look at them now have not lost a game

we need to find our heart and fighting ability to get through today

pieterson left SA because we did not want him, all he wanted to do was play cricket and we didnt pick him i would have left as well

pieterson is the best batsmen in the world at the moment dont ever forget that

he left SA because they would not pick him not because he is unpatriotic
