And the pitch yesterday supposed to be in favour of NZ.

So yesterday I find out if I put R1000 on SL in the beginning of the WC for them to win I would have won R70 000!!!!! And R30 000 if they just made the final!!!
 
NZ have half the pace attack SA does. Look at how SA demolished England with the full strength pace attack.

Problem is today's pitch will probably be flat which doesnt suit us well...getting passed Aus will be difficult.

No the pitch was rumored to suit NZ because of how it was previous in the tournament the pitch on the day was a perfect Sri Lankan pitch. All the grass of the previous games was gone.
 
Wow intense.. Fleming resigned as captain in ODI for Nz.. Not sure whether Aus would prefer batting or bowling first. they try and say bat..

Lol Smithy is so stupid, he would send in Aus to bat. Just because he thinks he can chase whatever they set. To be honest I would bat if I was Smithy just to turn the tables and see what happens...
 
If this was at Barbados or SA or Aus I would bat second but this is a difficult call. From previous in the tournament the pitch at St.Lucia slows up in the second innings which chasing difficult. I would bat first here due to that and the Aussies in big games prefer to bat first and the pressure of a run chase in a semi can be enormous.

And their spinners will get more out of a deteriorating pitch than SA will.
 
JK8 - you've pointed out that SA lose all their Saturday games. So far in the WC they've won all their non-Saturday games. What's going to happen: win today, lose on Sat?
 
He's anti-SA so it'll basically be lose today...pity his teams didn't do well. Didn't even make the Super 8's.

SL made it!! I aint SA I just hate their style of play!!! I think Bobbymac said sub-continent cricket isnt exciting.... I wonder if he watched yesterday.:)
 
while the agonising wait continues may i share this little pearl i have come up with regarding Aus:

My take on the game, if SA dont play hard enough and take every single ball as important as the next, they gonna lose it, also if Aus dont mess up but thats unlikely...

I think SL will beat any of the 2 teams!!:p
