The fixtures (below) for the Super 8 league relate to A1 being the first seed in group A, A2 the second, B1 the first in group B etc, as the expected qualifiers from each group. It does not refer to the actual league placings from round one.[7]

If these two teams do qualify they will be seeded in position 1 or 2 as specified regardless of whether they finish first or second in their group. For example, had West Indies won Group D and Pakistan come second, for the purposes of the Super Eights, West Indies would still have been D2 and Pakistan D1.

If these two teams do not qualify from their group they will be replaced in their indicative position by the team that qualifies instead of them. For example, since Ireland has qualified instead of Pakistan from Group D, Ireland has assumed the position of D1, despite finishing behind West Indies in the group. [7]

Screw that, I wanna see us demolish them! Each team has to face each other in the Super 8 anyway, so we need those 2 points.

West Indies vs South Africa -Tuesday 3 April 2007
Bangladesh vs South Africa -Saturday 7 April 2007
Ireland vs South Africa -Tuesday 10 April 2007
New Zealand vs South Africa-Saturday 14 April 2007
C2/England or Kenya vs South Africa-Tuesday 17 April 2007

Yah so we should just beat them now and take the points thru. Another clash with the windies.. hopefully we come out on top this time round.. they always win in tournaments.

If SA wins or lose?
 
It does not matter if we win or lose w.r.t what games will be played. But who ever wins later today walks into super 8's with 2 points which could prove vital. I think SL did SA a favour ;)
