His whole body is, coz he tries to bowl with a straight arm, but hes shoulders are to big.

lolll...:p

Dont you think this is unfair: ICC ODI rankings?
cos Aus have a game against bangladesh on the 31st March...
and the deadline is 1st April...
and SA's next game is only on the 3rd April....

Those are no-balls right?
I got run out on one of those about 8yrs ago in my school days

Yeah. No-ball.

No-balls are not immediately called dead balls except when the ball comes to a stop before the batsman's wicket and there was no contact made by any fielder or batsman. So that would be a no-ball followed by a dead ball call. Incidentally, a wicket keeper taking a ball in front of the wicket when the batsman has not touched the ball is also no-balled - which means that a batsman cannot be stumped in this situation ;)

I'm glad I stopped watching just after Smith got out :) Don't think I can take any more heart stopping moments from our cricketers.

Just glad they won though. Hopefully the next few games will be easier on our stress levels.

With regards to Malinga's bowling. Its weird to watch and the batsmen were obviously amused. I wondered about its legality every ball he bowled cos it just looks wrong. However he would never have reached this stage without it being picked up or reported. ICC must have cleared him somewhere along the line.

As mentioned previously, there is no restriction on the trajectory of a ball being bowled.

why is his bowling all of a sudden questioned after 432 wickets

Thats quite a record and goes with what I said - he must have been cleared somewhere along the line.

Because we are seeing it for the first time we find it strange. Doesn't mean its illegal though, however funny it looks :D

Well we got the 2 points which is what matters so we gotta put this match behind us and really look to bury Bangladesh and Ireland because the match against NZ is gonna be tough as hell.

With an attitude like that we might as well just give up now. But hey lets be honest, we haven't played well the last 2 games BUT we did have a killer summer and everyone knows this is our best chance to WIN the world cup! I cant remember the last time I was actually excited about a South African team actually winning some sort of World Cup, so we gotta snap outta this mindset and actually SUPPORT our team. I know I am.

I'd have to disagree... Thing about cricket is that one or two lucky chances comes your way and you're the winner on the day..

Against Australia there was a catch that probably missed AB's hand by 10cm, when Hayden was on 13 or some low score!

Then , later that day, AB got run out by the most FREAKISHLY good throw I've ever seen! And Smithy cramped up..

Would it not have been for the above unfortunate events, we would've been in a really good position by over 30!

Against Sri Lanka I feel that our bowlers raised their game, hopefully they better it still!
