I've read on a tech site that there might be a new iphone this year, after the last firmware update (2.2.1) there was an entry hidden in some config file that refers to iphone 2, the current iphone 3g is 1,2.

So now the rumours are ripe that there will be a new one this year seeing as apple has released a new iphone every year for the last two years

Does anyone know when MTN will be bringing out their new specials? Usually it's on the 1st of the month, but the dude at MTN Capegate said that there was a problem at their printers and the new pamphlets will only be available on the 7th. So why is the website not updated in the meantime, while we wait for the pamphlets?

This phone hasn't even been officially announced yet, that was just a pre-announcement, I don't know how you jumped to it being available this month. Don't expect this phone before Christmas (the new symbian platform isn't even ready yet).

Both of these phones are available and have been so since October last year. I believe MTN had the G900 for about R160 on Anytime100 last time I checked.

UPDATE: Vodacom sent an email to inform me that they will not be carrying the G900 whatsoever. Idiots!

I just spoke to HTC and they reckon that both Google phones, the G1 and HTC Magic, will be out in May!
