Avram Grant resigned from Pompey, wonder if he will go to West Ham and whip Mc Carthy into shape![]()
To be fair, it is City, so if they're offering 25m, he's worth about 12m..
Let's just remember, City paid 24m for Lescot.. Lol.

Despite the unrest, Barca are not willing to let the Ivorian defensive midfielder leave on the cheap, and rejected Chelsea’s bid and will not sell for less than €25m.
Toure has been linked with a move to Arsenal as part of a deal to take Cesc Fabregas back to the Nou Camp, but his agent has denied that Toure was heading to North London by saying ‘bigger clubs’ were interested in his client

Ouch!
Are we supposed to be offended by some unknown agents opinion?
Its probably more a case of Arsenal not being interested in his player, we have Song![]()

Chelsea and Arsenal are both interested in signing Israeli starlet Gai Assulin from Barcelona, according to a report from Spanish daily Sport.
The attacking midfielder made his debut for his national team at the age of 16 and has been tipped for a major future on the world stage.
However, first team opportunities at Camp Nou have become limited and the 19-year-old's contract is set to expire soon, making him available on a free transfer.
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen to add fresh legs to an ageing midfield at Stamford Bridge, whilst the Gunners had been linked with the player earlier in the season
Toure is a trillion times better than Song.
He may be better - don't know about the trillion times thing, but that's the exaggeration we get with you - so fine. I think with Song, he has age on his side and will only get better. Judging from the progress he has made in the last 18 months, I would say he is above where Yaya was when he was at Monaco and Olympiakos.
Having said that Yaya is a very competitive and combative midfielder who would do well in the EPL, but I don't think we need him as Diaby is a Wenger favourite and again, if being dumb enough is being 'big enough', then we're not that big to pay the wages he reportedly wants. I also think Wenger having had the chance to sign him from Beveren all those years ago for next to nothing, won't fork out to get him now, when he had many chances in the past.
I can't find a source, but I do recall AW saying it had something to do with Yaya's stamina for the English game - something along the lines of he wouldn't move for him due to the fact that he had 'no special stamina to play in england' - and he played Eboue there instead at the start of 2008/9.
