And how do you know the routes people will take, or the places they will stay?
An what if they stay all over the place? Or are there special "WC visitor" demarkated routes and places to stay? What if the people themselves don't know these "routes"? Or will we have a reliable and safe public transport system in place by then.
On the bright side, South Africans can look forward to one crime free year!
Someone can predict these things?Nqakula: 2010 safe from crime
Pretoria - Safety and Security Minister Charles Nqakula said on Tuesday he did not understand why crime was being linked to the 2010 World Cup.
"If there is a major threat against this tournament, tell us, we want to deal with it. Is there going to be a bomb that is going to go off at the stadium?"
Yes, prolly cos it was a crime to urinate in public... or maybe because crime was recorded properly, or people had more faith in the police... maybe...Speaking at the release of the police's crime statistics for the last financial year, Nqakula said that South Africa had successfully hosted the Rugby World Cup in 1994, when crime levels were much higher.
Thats cos their chief of police lies awake every night "with 2012 on his forehead"National police commissioner Jackie Selebi said that he was not lying awake every night "with 2010 on my forehead."
He said the destinations, routes and hotels to be used would be known.
"We know where people are going to stay, what routes they are going to take and which stadiums they are going to go to."
He said after people drove a jeep into Glasgow airport over the weekend, nobody was saying "forget 2012" in reference to London's hosting of the next Olympic Games.
