2011/2012 UEFA CL

Well done to Chelsea, can take nothing away from them, they stuck it out and came through on top despite the thought on everyones minds what was going to be the final result :p
Looks like "parking the bus" is the right way to do things :p

against Barca yes, especially if you a team like Chelsea.

I'm still smiling! Made myself lekke money betting on Chelsea to be ahead 1-0 at half time. 11/2 odds! Woohooo!

Haha awesome. I was supporting Chelsea tonight. Barca dominated and could of had about 5 goals, but Chelsea with the win!

Let's hope they can perform a miracle at the Camp Nou.

Me too. They don't need a miracle. If they score 1 goal, Barcelona will need to score 3 to win.

Well, when a team likes to play aggressively, all you need to do is catch them on the counter.

Going to the Nou Camp with a 1-0 lead and thinking you'll make it is extremely ambitious. Especially if they play like they did last night... unless Lady Luck is with them again.

problem is Barca is capable of scoring 3-5 at home easily... lets not forget there's still the ref to deal with

That's what people would expect but I remember last season when they played home... it wasn't impressive. They actually played better away. One also wonders why Barca is not on top of the league. It means other teams have taken points off them. I know it's not the same but it stands to reason that they are not unbeatable.
It's gonna be tough for Chelsea, but they can do it.

Yes this time it's gonna be Iniesta that's gonna scream "It's a DISGRACE! It's a #$%ing disgrace!" :D

Barcelona only have one draw at home this season in La Liga, rest are wins.

Would love for Chelsea to make the final then Bayern give em a good whipping :p

Anyone notice second half how Messi was the only one who wanted to play.

Just something i've wondered about, what is the rule again if a team say from the EPL don't make CL qualification, even though they won the CL the same season ? Chelsea might accomplish both.

They'll take the 4th place allocation. Ie, Top 3 in the EPL + Chelsea.

Similar situation when L'pool won it and finished outside the top 4.

UEFA has since changed the rules.

Current champions will automatically qualify for the next season...

John Terry - what a complete twat!! :wtf: That was a cynical knee in the back. Now Chelsea deserve to get crushed...
