Lithium batteries may also well get a good boost in capacity. All we need from this is a single double up and we have effectively equaled petrol-vehicles in range and fill-up time + electric moters are more powerful and will redefine new concepts of new vechiles (ie. Nissan iV).

We have also got the tech to make these batteries last up to 20 years, and at no additional cost.

But how will the companies make their money...? :rolleyes: And thats where your problems lie unfortunately.

Exactly how many people keep their cars more than five years huh? Ultimately people will upgrade cause new new one has a $%^&* and a #$%^& which makes it better at $%^&* or #$%^&

Cars are probably not the best example to use ;) But I get your drift.
