Worst movie Ive seen in a while, the plot itself was good. The script how ever came from the 90's, theres no way some one can get away with that much cheese! As many said, special effects were cool but the story line was bad as bad can be! Then towards the end where they were stuck in the zoo chambers, I noticed the quality of the camera work changng, you could make out it was in a studio & the icing on the cake was when that moron said Drakensberg is the Cape of Good hope.........FFS.
 
Average movie.

Special effects: 8/10.

Story line: Just watch the "Day after tomorrow" and you know what's happening. Plus, it was dragged a bit.
 
what is hilarious is how many people were expecting Oscar material ....... it was a disaster flick, all they are is eye candy and pure escapism. Sorry that you go to a movie like this, knowing what it is, and leave feeling all 'disappointed' :rolleyes:
 
I wasnt expecting a Oscar award winning flick , I dont think anyone here that went to watch it was expecting that, the previews pretty much showed us that, I just wasnt expecting it to be that bad. I went to watch the film with very low expectations and didnt think that the film could lower them even further, how wrong I was.
 
2012

This movie truly depressed me...seems even when the world ends telkom will still survive to give the remnants of humanity the proverbial finger and loads of grief. :P

Other than that...pretty fun movie.
