2013 Golf MK7 GTI

I'll rather have the V40 R-Design...

If we're gonna talk about what we'd rather take, I'll just leave this here :

After how many years do VW change the shape/model?

Some say it looks like a Golf 4, some say it looks like a Golf 6 some say it looks like a Polo. Well its a VW Golf 7 and ofcause it wll look a little bit like all other VW's because afterall it is a VW Golf. Well done VW for sticking with the winning formula. As someone once said in this forum, if you looking for new designs go look at the KIA. I for one will not go the Golf 7 after the Golf 6 but I am eying the 125i Hatch.

Maybe the minor changes to design has something to do with VW's high resale value? I don't know why, but VW does seem to retain its value quite longer than other cars.

My sister's husband used to work at BMW. He said something that although the 125i have the power, it is not a sporty car. He rather recommended the 130 I think. I myself am eyeing the new Focus ST to be released in the next month or two.

I saw one last weekend. The VW factory isnt too far from EL and you often see the new golfs on the road when they are testing them. Its quite nice looking but the red stripe in the lights is terrible.

6 versions later and I'd still rather have the original:

I see more GTi's than regular Golfs these days which takes all the 'wow' factor out of them imo.

While I think the regular new Golf 7 is good this GTi does not cut it - at all.
But I'm not complaining, it just makes the competition look so much better

I guess if you press the "MPS" button in the Astra it opens the scoop on the bonnet... right? And that MPS in the OPC stands for "Mazda P__slip Scoop".

"Smiling" lower grille? Wheels?

Horrible seats. Not in keeping with Golf's upmarket image. Should be leather. Maybe this isn't "green" enough nowadays. What is that funny mark on the rear wheel arch?
