Not bad looking, but that fuel consumption tho!
Eish....that engine bay is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
The engine cover?![]()
My 2011 Kia Sportage 2l Manual averaged between 10 and 11l/100km so given the H6C has 25kw more, a turbo and is auto... it's seems right. Long distances I have managed sub 10.It is a bit high. But then again my sister's Mini Countryman S gets between 12 - 13l/100km .... and that car is smaller than the Haval.
Looks like a Haval dealership will be opening soon on Beyers Naude, where Suzuki used to be.
Good, as usual my request is ask them if it is pronounced "Gravel with an H".
Can someone answer these for me if they know;
1. Does the consumption improve on the highway?
2. The website says 4x4 "by special order" - has anyone actually ordered one or asked the pricing? How much is the 4x4?
I'm in 2 minds about getting one. It looks really nice for what I'm looking for but what if they don't last long in SA?
I'm driving a Fusion at the moment which is awesome, sublime,comfortable and fast. And Ford no longer sells them so their resale value will plummit into non-existence. I dont want the same to happen to a Haval i buy...

They won't go anywhere, in fact Haval has actually taken over GWM's operations, so GWM has here been for 10 years now and they done pretty with that steed 5 bakkie.Can someone answer these for me if they know;

1 Highway can drop it to sub 10, but combined no.
2 No 4 X 4 models in S.A. They would have to import one.
Have no idea what the resale will be. Remains to be seen. I get a smile on my face every day I drive mine.
You can skip to the next song... tap up on the mode button.My friend took delivery of his last week tuesday. He loved the car, since we went to test drive it last year. There is only 2 things he isn't happy about. You can't skip songs from the steering wheel, only on the radio. Also the high fuel consumption, but he says it's better in ECO mode. O, and he wants to install a rockford amp and sub (10") this weekend.![]()
