2015 Haval H6 Coupe

Hey guys. Stop wondering and just give me a call to test drive the Haval. I will come to you. 0796047165

The 4x4 is the one I would want...

Would hope they'd bring in a few to the country rather than making it a special order item.

The haval H9 is a 7 seater 4X4 that is doing really well in Australia. It will be here at the end of the year

Yeah I know...

But I'm not sure I want a vehicle as large as the H9.... but time will tell what the cost is and such.

I'm still struggling with the idea of having an SUV without 4x4. I feel its a bit like you're spending money on a car that should do something - but it cant. Perhaps I need to examine more what I would actually need 4x4 for, i mean i go on the odd sand road twice a year - the rest of the time it would be needed to mount Sandton pavements when/if necessary.

Edit - also can someone with an H6C actually post their 0-100? Because if Car magazine's figure is to be believed its concerning, there are 1.2l sedans with faster acceleration..

“While I await my appointment to test drive the Baojun 510 which was #1 on my wish-list due to its status of best-selling car launch in the history of automobile (no less), the next car on my wish-list is the Haval H6. It has been the best-selling SUV in China for the past five years (2013–2017), even holding the top spot for 55 consecutive months between July 2013 and January 2018 before being outsold by the… Baojun 510 this February and March, then reclaiming the title in April. ”

0-100 is so overrated, anything sub 10 is fine. I don't have any issues there.

Mine pulls pretty fast and hard, it can even wheel spin if you punch the accelerator... but with the bad fuel consumption in town, I try drive like a granny....

Cool. Its like my Ford, u would think a 1.5 turbo petrol is economical. Its eats fuel like its a Saudi Prince.

Gross weight ofthe H6C is 2210kg, 385kg more than the Qashqai, 200kg more than the Tucson and 215kg more than the Mazda cx5. Seems the Chinese were not too bothered about weight.

Haval Motors SA grabs 3rd place finish in the 2018 NADA awards

Haval, the professional SUV division of GWM, has made its competitors sit up and take notice after earning a bronze medal in the 2018 National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA) Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) Awards – and this after doing business in the country for just one year.

"This is an amazing achievement in our first year. However, we are working hard at improving on this and also to take the satisfaction we enjoy from our dealers and carry that over to our customers," says Charles Zhao, Managing Director of Haval Motors South Africa.

'Making it work from the word go'

Haval started with just three dealers, and by June 2018 the company has expanded to no less than 29 Haval dealers countrywide after receiving full factory back-up.

Well my FIL just brought his h1 around.
It looks the part, I just worry about shortcuts they've taken. Bright red calipers clinging onto brake disks the size of saucers. Bluetooth, steering wheel controls, but no tone controls on the audio and the speakers sound like an old pc internal speaker
The boot is tiny, considering how big the car looks.

I hope it lasts for him and is reliable...

Did the FIL get any decent discount?
