Like the guys advertising old 90's CITI Golfs on Junkmail and Olx and trying to convince everyone it's now a collectors item. Does this mean we're calling car thieves collectors now?

Why not ,VWSA know they can milk the consumer even more by releasing this model! Even if they sell it at the 200k mark, people will buy it for the name.
Entry level vivo cost 172k now with the top GTS model going for 205k now.

Can't believe people still buy this old polo with an even older engine!

Good grief but that's ugly. The GTS still looks okayish. Overall the vivo is not a bad car if you don't really care about cars. It's cheap(ish), should be light on fuel and easy to maintain.

But on the otherhand, it's noisy, not very fast, and damn ugly in that colour scheme. And for R200 000 I would want a lot more features than what the Vivo offers.

I like the touches VW have added, not to say its a great looking car, but these little touches are nice for someone in their 20s looking for a reliable car.

It's still the same old Vivo, how is it different to the GTS, besides the decals?

I was talking about how it looks, the decals on the GTS looks kind of good (to me), that citi just looks revolting. I never said the car is different.

At least we now know the Vivo will live on for another 15 or so years
