Lol. There's an article on Sky Sports that says Tony Pulis said that Wenger told him that he wants to stay another year.

There is going to be such a meltdown.
Cause they're such good mates... it's unlikely AW would tell him anything. There's no love lost since his days as Stoke Rugby Club's manager.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure it'll happen, at least for another year. Özil and Sanchez will leave because we won't give them £300k a week, and because we won't be in the CL.

Conflicting reports here in the UK with some saying he's staying, others that we've approached Tuchel. Why we'd go for another mediocre manager no-one will ever know. Get Allegri or Ancelloti in. United, Chelsea, City - hell, even Liverpool - brought in trophy-winning, capable managers.

When/if Wenger goes it's definitely going to be interesting. How much you think the board would be willing to spend. Would you take Simone?

Well on £8mil a year he's already one of the highest paid managers in the world, so doubt money is an issue with regards to a contract. Who knows how much the new guy would get as a transfer kitty though. And yes, I'd take Simeone in a heartbeat - he's savage, and wouldn't stand for the weak-arse display we gave at West Brom. Would he come to Arsenal is the real question I think.

From an outsiders point of view it does look like there is a heap of pressure on Wenger and the board. from what we have seen the last few years, loyalty is as scarce as a virgin in an EPL teams locker room.

It would be horrendous if he was booted though. Rather quit on his own terms.

They've made it clear it's up to him, he has been offered a contract.

I think any manager would come to the premiership and London is a big plus for you guys.

I did not know that. Must say I have respect for the board then. But if what Voice says is true, and that he is on £8mil a year, then I must say he is on shaky ground. For that amount of money I would expect a bit more from him and the team.

The problem is bigger than Wenger. The club just wants to balance its books. No ambition. It's also possible that this rubbed off on Wenger as the years went by. They need to grow a pair of balls and get rid of him and a number of players now. The problem is that the players they want to keep, want to leave. Sanchez will leave at the end of the season (99% sure of it), and while Arsenal and Dortmund deny it, they have approached Tuchel just in case Wenger does go. Arsenal need new leadership and there's no better time to change than now. If I were an Arsenal fan and I just found out Wenger got an extension, I would stop supporting them. It's just not good enough.

Real Madrid are ready to sell James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata in the next transfer window. Real want Eden Hazard.
