If we are playing Southampton and below in a league game yeah he could fill in seamlessly.

Liverpool have immediately rejected a second bid from Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News understands Barca's latest offer for the forward was €85m (£76.8m) up front, with €15m (£13.6m) add-ons.

Liverpool have reiterated their stance that Coutinho is not for sale and now consider the matter closed.

The La Liga giants had a £72m bid for the Brazil international rejected in July and, having sold Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record £200m last week, turned their attentions to pursuing the 25-year-old

Barcelona made their first bid for the Brazil international last month
Coutinho, a key figure for Liverpool since arriving from Inter Milan in January 2013, registered 13 goals and seven assists for the Reds during their 2016/17 Premier League campaign.

Jurgen Klopp on Wednesday described Liverpool as being "in a good shape" ahead of the new season but kept quiet about Coutinho's future.

Sky Sports News earlier this week reported the Brazilian would like to move to the Nou Camp if a deal can be done amicably with Liverpool.

The playmaker signed a new five-year contract with Klopp's side in January and the club remain adamant their player is not for sale.

Been reading about that - not a bad choice especially with us needing a LB

Would suit the 5-3-2 system and provide good speed to overlap on the left and delivery into box. At 27, we get him at his peak, EPL experience and part of a side last year that could of won the league

Various sources DiMarizo, Castles say PSG close to a deal for Mbappe for around £160 Million.

As ludicrous as the Neymar deal was, being arguably the third best player in the world you can "kind of" justify the deal from his currently ability and what he's done over the past few seasons and of course his commercial value. But Mbappe has what 50 professional games and as of yet no real commercial value beyond his pricetag.

I think Neymar has the experience to handle the pressure but it may be too much for Mbappe at this stage.

People forget that Madrid bought Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema and Alonso in one transfer window. Imagine how expensive that would be today.
