Sanchez to City without any replacements is an unmitigated disaster on a number of levels. Honestly think it's the sort of deal that removes Arsenal as any sort of force in the top 4 for a few years.
 
Not sure why so many gossip rags are reporting Willian to United (well, clicks I guess). Would make no sense why Chelsea would sell two fantastic players to a major rival in a single window.

The reports I've seen claim that the offer is only going to be formally accepted if Arsenal's bid for Lemar is successful.

If Arsenal can't get Lemar to sign, maybe City will throw in Sterling?
 
Apparently we've bid £90m for Lemar. The fact that they've even bothered to use a figure that high is a clear indication that it's just BS, especially after we have "no money". This is just RvP all over again: if Sanchez is true, we've just handed Citeh the title.

Perez is off to Deportivo, Campbell (remember him?) is being loaned to Betis.

spunk all that money on a foetus when the money couldn be better used on two players a DM and maybe another winger (i.e. Seri plus one of Mahrez or Draxler)

Couldn't agree more - and thus far all of Professor Dementor's panic buys have been massive flops. Yes they have the odd flash in the pan games, but as a whole they just cost the club money.

Mourinho had a firm strategy in place for what he needed and he strengthened his team in the areas that he would like. Unlike Dementor over here - who midway through the transfer window says I have too big a squad. How long did the senile old fool not know how many players he has in his squad. All of his welfare cases, funded by his grandoise wage structure that rewards mediocrity leaving him unable to get rid of his passengers - because no other team would be prepared to meet the wages of these squad players.
