Yo

Any Clio 4 Wagon fans?

Would you buy one (Sportback) if you could?

Oh yes FiestaST, you i like me a good wagon. It looks almost shooting brake-ish. Loves............

I like it! Added practicality with the good looks of the Clio. Would not sell well here though

Looks great for a wagon, too bad here in SA the Crossover and SUV has taken over.

I would never get a wagon though
I'd rather keep my little Silver Bullet (yes, I gave her a name), LOL.

There will be four petrol versions for South Africa, but the line up won’t include the 1.5 diesel that’s newly added to the range in Europe.

The entry level TC90 (so labelled because of its output in old-fashioned horsepower) will be the first derivative to arrive here in November, powered by the familiar 900cc turbo petrol with outputs of 70kW and 150Nm and claimed economy of 5.1 litres per 100km.

In the first quarter of 2017 it will be followed by the more powerful Clio TC120 with the 88kW/205Nm 1.2 turbo under the hood, and a six-speed manual doing transmission duty. At about the same time the rapid RS 1.6 turbo versions will be launched in two guises: the standard one producing 147kW/240Nm and a Trophy derivative with 162kW and 260Nm.

SA missing out on diesel models yet again

Is our diesel quality that bad?

SA has always loved their diesel vehicles though, just look at the prevalence of the VW and Audi 1.9 and 2.0 TDI variants in all shapes and sizes and the market penetration of a nice big turbodiesel mill in the Ranger and Hilux bakkies.

That said, cost is also a factor along with pricey service intervals

me :p

Don't you just miss grinding a gear every now and then? ;)

Horrible sound that. I currently have the Clio EDC, what a weird gearbox. But you get used to it. Under normal driving the only way you can tell it changes gears is by looking at the rev counter :)

I still drive a Manual, and loving it :D the little 900c loves being revved.

The 2017 is stunning, I must say, I want to see that RS :D may just go into a dealership, act like I have deep pockets and get a test drive
